When you think of pin-ups what is the first thing that comes to your mind?
For me, it’s almost like I have a flashback to the 1940′s or 50′s and imagine a gorgeous tall and skinny blonde or brunette with long legs and a cute look on her face that just makes you stare in awe.
So who’s your favorite pin-up model? Mine is Bettie Page…not only for the obvious reasons (known as the “Queen of Bondage and S&M”), but she is just…just…wow, so damn beautiful! The expression “they don’t make em’ like that anymore” comes to mind, doesn’t it?
Nobody did it better than Bettie Page.
I don’t know about the rest of you, but I simply love this time period. The pop-culture, the cars, the movies, the people. To me it sounds like such a fairy tale. Even today’s pop-culture tries to pay homage to that time period, as seen here in a TV Guide cover for Desperate Housewives. Wow, there is a lot of pro-spanking imagery that my mind can sniff out in this picture…how about you?
